Dakar launches public consultation on the thematical axis for the 2011 edition
The International Council of World Social Forum, the African Social Forum and the Organising Committee Senegalese launch a public consultation until 10 September to finalize the central themes to the publishing of the WSF, held in Dakar, Senegal, from 6 to 11 February 2011. This methodological proposal was developed after Mumbai (Maharashtra, India), 5 years ago. Southern Social Forum : Road Map to SASF 2011

The Zambia Social Forum ZAMSOF was in March mandated to host the 2011 Southern

Africa Social Forum SASF with the Zambia Council for Social Development (ZCSD) as

its secretariat. The orientation meeting was as a result of a resolve passed by members of ZAMSOF during the meeting held at ZCSD town office on 9 April 2010 and was aimed at mobilizing, orienting, and recruiting a diverse range of Civil Society Organisations (CSOs), Community based Organisations ( CBOs).(more)
