From 25 to 28 November 2008, Niamey, the capital of Niger, will be the
crossroads of Africa peoples march against globalization demeaning.
The 5th edition of the African Social Forum in Niger will be an opportunity to
sustain and strengthen the development of synergy of actions between the
different movements, in order to move towards that other African
possible jealous of it dignity, trampled by the Western policies neoliberal
and anti-immigration; this other Africa possible claims and took
it right to free choice politically, economically and socially, that refuses
to be sacrificed in the light of globalization imposed by illegitimate

Consultation to Organize the World Social Forum

International Council of the World Social Forum is
consulting all organisations and network and popular
movements about the objectives of their actions, campaigns
anda social fights towards the next WSF, that will take
place in Belém city, state of Pará, in the pan-amazonic
region, Brazil, in january, 2009. Your attention to this
consultation is very important for the construction of a
real collective and democratic meeting.
We
are pleased to inform you that the last meeting of the
African Social Forum Committee was held in Abidjan
(Ivory Coast) from 10 to 13 september 2008.
