We are pleased to inform you that the next meeting of the African Social Forum Committee will be held in Abidjan (Ivory Coast) from July 31^st to August 3^rd 2008.

The following issues will be addressed:

• The 2008-2009 African Social Forum agenda and programme

• The planning of the Next African Social Forum to be held in Niamey

• The African participation at the next World Social Forum (Belem January 2009)

• The 2011 World Social Forum held in Africa

• The Evaluation of African dynamics

As member of the Committee, you are asked to do your best to take part of the meeting.

Accomodation: You will be lodged at “MANHATTAN SUITES, Riviera – Bonoumin, Abidjan, Tel: (+225) 22 43 00 23 / 22 43 00 37, E-mail:manhattansuites@yahoo.fr / www.manhattansuites.net, where the meeting will take place. 
During your stay, we remind you that you will be taken in charge for bed, breakfast and coffee break only.  All expenses on place (meals, visas fees, taxis and others incidentals) will be taken in charge by the participants. 

Working language of the meeting and documentation: Participants are encouraged to bring any documents that could be of interest to the meeting. The meeting will be conducted in French and English, and an interpretation service will be available to participants throughout the meeting. 

Meeting will take place at the hotel Conference room. You are kindly requested to be punctual.
